Maori Koru Silver fern is a unique species of fern in New Zealand. The back of the silver-white leaves can glow under the moonlight. When Maori people hunt at night, they will fold the silver fern leaves as a guide to go home. The silver fern is not only regarded as a "sacred object" by the Maori, but also the national flower of New Zealand and the team emblem of the national rugby team All Blacks.

In 1998, a 23-year-old New Zealand college student Ruben suffered a mountain disaster in Alishan, Taiwan. This mountain disaster attracted attention in Taiwan and New Zealand. Ruben's father, Phil, flew to Taiwan alone to search for his son's whereabouts after discovering Ruben had lost contact.
Phil couldn't speak the language, he ran into obstacles everywhere, one day he hung a photo of Ruben to the presidential palace to ask for help. Although he didn't see the president himself, but at same time aroused the attention of the police department and set up a task force to help Ruben's whereabouts. After seeing the media reports, people from all walks of life extended a helping hand.
During the long search and rescue process, although everyone could not understand the language, they gave encouragement to Phil one after another, and even took care of him as his own family, so that the collapsed Phil gained warmth and strength.
In the end, Phil was still unable to transform into a silver fern and bring his son Ruben back to his hometown of New Zealand, but during this journey, he accumulated a deep relationship with the Taiwanese, and Taiwan became Phil's second hometown. And his heart has also been attributed. Home is where the heart is, and in Phil's heart he has brought Ruben home.

Koru uses the silvery white of the back of the silver fern leaf as the main color, with the traditional totem design of the FLIPPOS’s classic style Tā Moko, using dark gray, light gray and off-white to bring out the three-dimensional effect of light colors. In fact, silver fern-related designs can be seen almost everywhere in New Zealand, and are even often used in traditional Maori tattoo designs.
The graphics on the upper edge of Koru and the contrasting colors on both sides are to highlight the tattoo design of the silver fern leaves. After all, the sacred objects in the Maori population must be at the top of all the patterns to express sacredness and respect.
When the socks are flipped, the swirling lines are like how the Maori would fold back the silver fern leaves at night to make the leaves glow to find their way home. Although the story of Phil's search for a child is not perfect in reality, it has a greater meaning for Phil on another level, not only flipping his own life but also inspiring the world.

The original idea of FLIPPOS hosiery is to create a pair of compression stocking fulfilling functions in every way. You could wear it to the office and exercise after work as well. Simply with ONE SAME pair of stocking.
Considering that most people either sit or stand for a long time for work in which cause the fatigue condition upon feet and calf, we develop our hosiery to apply ‘graduated compression’ from the sole of the foot to calf to improve this situation.
Additionally, wearing FLIPPOS during exercise could reduce muscle vibration effectively, produce greater strength, and improve the speed of fatigue recovery after exercising.

This time we have upgraded our original patented maze cushioning to strengthen the sole’s “knitted maze damping.” Both the hardness and the rebound speed are significantly improved, so when running, jumping or climbing, the notable shock-absorbing effect means no loss of power and full athletic release.

The compression levels adopted by FLIPPOS are the graduated compressions of 15-25 mmHg in accordance with EU regulation, which is NOT considered a high-compression medical product.

Daily wear, before and after exercise (running, cycling, skateboarding, mountain-climbing, physical training, etc.), traveling, taking long-distance flights, or improving problems before and after pregnancy.

The touch of similar to Egyptian cotton   silver fiber

The main material of the hosiery is tech nylon mixed with lycra yarn. In addition to that this material is four times more expensive than ordinary combed cotton, the main functions are quick moisture wicking and the touch of similar to Egyptian cotton.On top of that, silver fiber deodorizing technology has been added to the sole of stocking. The effect will NOT be reduced due to either the number of times being washed or however long the products has been bought.

• We recommended that the best washing method is hand washing which could extend the use life for the products.
• FLIPPOS recommend to place the socks into a laundry bag when machine washing. The water temperature should be below 30 °C and use a neutral lotion (pH between 6-8).
• Please do not use bleach, fluorescent whitening agents, clothing softeners and avoid immersion in functional detergents for too long.
• Avoid powdery detergent, because if the micro-slits on the socks are blocked, it is equivalent to losing some of the function.
• If you have any doubts about whether your laundry detergent will cause fading, please wash it separately.
• Please wash the dark and light colors separately and do not soak and dry clean.
• Avoid direct sunlight and dryers, for compression functional products, please use a dry in the shade.
