FLIPPOS founder Johnny met Ni Tzu-Chun (known as “Xiao Ma”), a host, actor, singer, and painter, through their shared passion for sports.
Both believe that sports are not only about pushing physical limits, but also about self-discovery and unleashing the energy of life.
After one training session, Xiao Ma shared how he feels passion and hope through movement—and how those emotions often become the source of his artistic inspiration.
That conversation revealed a deeper insight: sports and art share the same soul. Both are ways to express oneself and to transmit energy to the world.
And so, they decided to turn that shared inspiration into something wearable—transforming the reversible socks into true “art in motion.” Every run, every breath, becomes part of the rhythm of life itself.
This is the story of two kindred spirits brought together by passion—a genuine reflection of what it means to live wholeheartedly.
Design
The design inspiration for this reversible sock collection comes from two of Xiao Ma’s paintings— Heartbeat of Passion and Breath of Life.
Red and black symbolize burning passion and unyielding will, while green and black represent the continuation of life and the budding of hope.
These two forces echo one another across the canvas, rising and falling like the rhythm of life itself—with moments of explosive intensity and pauses of quiet breath.
What makes this design special is that each sock presents a different painting: the right foot features Heartbeat of Passion, expressing fire and intensity; the left foot showcases Breath of Life, symbolizing vitality and hope.
Every step continues the rhythm of heartbeat and breath—a reminder of life’s constant motion and ever-flowing energy.
Adding to the creativity, the inner side of the reversible socks uses contrasting colors inspired by the opposite painting.
Each side reveals a distinct mood and aesthetic. With just one pair, you can wear the spirit of passion, vitality, and the infinite rhythm of life.
Compression Level
The compression level of FLIPPOS socks is 15–25 mmHg, suitable for daily use. It is not a medical device and therefore does not require medical certification.
Material
Egyptian Cotton Texture | Silver Ion
Flippos socks are mainly made from high-tech nylon blended with Lycra, a material four times more expensive than regular combed cotton. It provides quick-dry, moisture-wicking performance and an Egyptian cotton-like feel. The foot area utilizes silver ion deodorizing technology, which remains effective regardless of washing frequency or duration.

Washing Instructions
The best washing method is hand washing. Avoid vigorous rubbing to extend product life.
If using a washing machine, place the socks (with the front side facing out) in a laundry bag, keep water temperature below 30°C, and use a neutral detergent (pH between 6 and 8).
Do not use bleach, fluorescent brighteners, or fabric softeners, and avoid soaking in sports-function detergents for too long.
Avoid powder detergents, as blocked micro-gaps in the sock can compromise its functionality.
If you have concerns about fading from using your own detergent, wash separately.
Wash light and dark colors separately, and do not soak or dry clean.
Avoid direct sunlight and tumble dryers; air-drying in the shade is recommended.
